Casillero del Diablo is proud to announce a historic recognition for its most classic and iconic wine variety: Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, after the 2017 vintage was awarded 90 points by the recognised US wine critic James Suckling.
Once again Casillero del Diablo gave a solid performance at the latest Berliner Wein Trophy competition, which took place in Berlin between 26 and 29 July, 2018.
Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 earned a Gold Medal, while the Carmenere 2017 variety was awarded a Silver Medal.
Almost 200 experts tasted and scored more than 6,000 wines from different countries, including France, Italy, South Africa, Australia and of course Chile. Only 30% of the wines tasted were awarded at this year’s event.
