Casillero del Diablo’s excellent presence stood out once again during the English football team Manchester United’s recent Asian tour in July.
More than 2,000 people tasted different varieties of Casillero del Diablo wine during games played in diferent stadiums. The brand name splashed across the digital boards was seen by 100,000 spectators and another 100 million television and online viewers during just one game in Japan.
The Red Devils made their first stop in Bangkok where they played an exciting game against the Singha All Stars before continuing on to Japan to play against Yokohama F. Marinos and Cerezo Osaka and wrapped up the tour in Hong Kong with a game against Kitchee FC.
During that evening’s dinner the full Manchester United team was joined by the club’s new manager, David Moyes, who admitted that although his knowledge of wine is not yet up to the level of his predecessor, Sir Alex Ferguson, he has been enjoying the different Casillero del Diablo varieties.
Finally, the full Manchester United team did the traditional Meet and Greet, during which the Casillero del Diablo team had the opportunity to share with players such as Patrice Evra, Wilfried Zaha, brothers Fábio and Rafael Pereira da Silva, and the legendary English players Bryan Robson and Gordon Bailey.
