A brilliant performance achieved Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada Cabernet Sauvignon – Syrah 2011, after obtaining a Gold Medal in the 10th version of the Annual Wines of Chile Awards (AWOCA).
This edition, which was carried out between January 5th and 10th, counted with the participation of 617 wines coming from more than a hundred Chilean vineyards, which were evaluated by a select jury composed by wine tasters from China, Japan, Korea, and Chile.
Claudio Cilveti, Managing Director of Wines of Chile, emphasized about the importance of the contest and its implications for the industry. “With ten years of trajectory, this contest has become one of the most prestigious and solid of the industry in the world, thanks to an objective and professional methodology which has enabled to successfully submit our industry to the judgment of different markets, in this case Asia, destination with immense potential for wine exports,” he mentioned.
This new award reaffirms once again the extraordinary consistency and quality achieved by Casillero del Diablo from its beginnings to the present.
