Casillero del Diablo has once again been recognised internationally by the prestigious English consulting agency Wine Intelligence, which has declared it the Second Most Powerful Wine Brand in the World, just as in 2018.
This is the second Global Wine Brand Power Index carried out by Wine Intelligence, in which it interviewed 22,000 wine consumers from the 20 countries most relevant to the industry, representative of more than 390 million consumers in total.
This ranking is based on the connection that brands have with their consumers. They use six methods of measurement, among those “brand recognition”, “recalled purchase in the last three months”, “brand connection measures of affinity and recommendation”, as well as others.
In the breakdown by country, Casillero del Diablo led the ranking in Chile and Ireland, and was among the top five in Brazil, Denmark, Sweden and other markets.
The general ranking was topped by Australian brand Yellow Tail, while Casillero del Diablo took second position, ahead of recognised brands such as Gallo, Jacob’s Creek, Robert Mondavi, and others.
Today Casillero del Diablo is present in more than 145 countries with a broad portfolio of products, which has positioned it today as the Chilean wine with the largest global presence.
