Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc was highlighted among the Top 10 wines in the US Press following a vote held by the influential international magazine The Drinks Business based on critiques by specialists in different US media.
The review of Casillero del Diablo was made by Sandra Silfven, wine writer of the Detroit Newspaper. In it she recommended this wine after a solid enological critique.
“This Sauvignon Blanc is textbook for Chile — a pale straw-gold color; dry, crisp aromas; and flavors of herbs, gooseberry, grapefruit and pear. The tart, dry style is not for amateur palates — it suits wine geeks, especially the ones on a budget. It’s an ideal summer wine for entrée salads and seafood.”
Casillero del Diablo stood out as the only Chilean wine in this select group. The selection also included important brands from producer countries such as France and Italy.
